Under Construction List
It's an oft quoted statistic, that Portland has more restaurants per capita than any other city except San Francisco. So I suppose that it shouldn't come as a total suprise that there's always a handful of people who are in the process of adding to the diversity that already exists. This list contains all the places that I know of which are in the process of starting up a new business. I've included only those that have made some concrete steps (e.g. sign in the window, signing a lease, etc) towards their goal.
