Former Merry Table customers may soon have a new way to get their crepe fix. Joy’s Crepe Cafe is currently under construction at 849 Forest Ave in the space that had been home to Haggarty’s.

Wait, what happened to Haggarty’s? I haven’t been in a long, long time but loved the lamb malaidar.
Apparently they changed hands a couple of times, and the most-recent owners couldn’t make a go of it. I went to Yelp to see what was said there.
Good luck to the Crepe Cafe! (Are they related to Café Crêpe which used to roam Portland until they opened a permanent spot in Freeport?)
