Here’s the start of the 2026 Maine Thanksgiving List of holiday dinners, community meals, and take out options ranging from singles dishes and baked goods to entire meals to enjoy at home.
We will be adding to the list now through Thanksgiving as businesses and organizations publish details on their plans. Please drop us a line if you know of any other local restaurants, community meals, markets, or other food businesses or events that should be included.
COMMUNITY RESOURCES
- The Good Shepherd Food Bank plays an integral role in distributing food during Thanksgiving and all year round in Maine. See their website for information where to find food through their partner agencies in Maine or to make a donation.
- Wayside Food Programs is sharing Thanksgiving meals to go, and boxes that contain the ingredients to prepare a Thanksgiving dinner at home (frozen turkey, a pie, squash, potatoes, butter, green beans, cream of mushroom soup, cranberry sauce, stuffing & gravy). Anyone interested in either option should call (207) 775-4939 to register for one by November 16th. You can make a donation to Wayside on their website. They’re also conducting a Thanksgiving food drive.
- Bar Harbor Congregational Church (Bar Harbor) – is distributing Thanksgiving food baskets.
- Boys & Girls Club of Kennebec Valley (Gardiner) – will be serving a free Thanksgiving dinner in collaboration with the Valley of Augusta Scottish Rite Masons.
- Bridgton Alliance Church (Bridgton) – will be holding a free Thanksgiving dinner.
- Budz Cares Foundation (Medway) – will be giving out turkeys to families in need; apply online by November 1st.
- Daddy O’s (Oxford) – will be holding a free Thanksgiving dinner.
- Dandelion Catering (Yarmouth) – is taking nominations for families to receive a free Thanksgiving meal.
- Ecumenical Food Pantry of Lincoln County – will be distributing Thanksgiving food baskets to people in need living in Alna, Bremen, Bristol, Damariscotta, Dresden, Jefferson, Newcastle, Nobleboro, South Bristol, Waldoboro, and Whitefield.
- Freeport Community Services (Freeport) – will be serving a Thanksgiving dinner and distributing food boxes to those in need and delivering Thanksgiving dinner to folks who cannot make it to the Community Center.
- House in the Woods (Lee) – will be serving a free Thanksgiving dinner; they encourage reservations and looking for volunteers to help.
- Knights of Columbus (Biddeford) – will be serving a free the 27th Annual Free Community Thanksgiving Dinner at the Most Holy Trinity Church Hall in Saco. Meals are also available to take home or be delivered.
- Phippsburg Sportsmen’s Association (Phippsburg) – will be serving a free Thanksgiving dinner.
- Rinaldi Energy (Saco) – will be providing Thanksgiving food baskets filled with “everything you’ll need to prepare your own Thanksgiving meal. From the turkey, to the cranberry, stuffing, bread, and more.”
- Ruska Coffee Company (Caribou) – will be holding a free Thanksgiving dinner and is recruiting volunteers.
- Saint Mary of the Visitation (Houlton) – will be holding a free Thanksgiving dinner in collaboration with the Knights of Columbus.
- Scarborough Community Dinner – will be holding the 11th annual Thanksgiving dinner. They welcome walk-ins to this free dinner but for planning purposes it is helpful is people register in advance. You can make a donation to support the dinner online.
- The Bridgton Kindness Project (Bridgton) – will be providing 12 food boxes to families in need. They also plan to have Thanksgiving meals available.
- The Root Cellar (Lewiston and Portland) – will be distributing Thanksgiving food baskets and taking donations to support that effort.
- Waco Diner (Eastport) – will be serving a free Thanksgiving dinner; reservation required.
- Waha (Lewiston) – will be serving their 7th annual free Thanksgiving dinner and is accepting donations of food for the meal.

- Clay Hill Farm (Cape Neddick) – will be serving a 3-course Thanksgiving dinner. with a menu for children under 12 for $21.
- Earth at Hidden Pond (Kennebunkport) – will be serving a Thanksgiving dinner; $120 per person and $60 per child.
- Farmhouse Social (South Portland) – the restaurant at Sable Oaks Sheraton is serving a Thanksgiving buffet. The buffet is $75 per person with a 10% discount for senior citizens, and $35 for children 4-12.
- Front & Main (Waterville)– will be serving Thanksgiving dinner.
- Galyn’s (Bar Harbor) – will be serving Thanksgiving dinner; $30 per person and $19 for children.
- Harbor Bistro + Terrace (Portland) – will be serving a Thanksgiving buffet. $89 per person, $49 for children under 12, and children 2 & under are free.
- Harraseeket Inn (Freeport) – will be serving their Thanksgiving Grand Buffet; $109 per person, $49 for children 5-12.
- Hilton Garden Inn (Auburn) – will be serving a Thanksgiving buffet; $55 per person, $50 for senior citizens, $25 for children 3-12.
- Isa Bistro (Portland) – will be serving a Thanksgiving dinner. They plan to start taking reservations on October 27th.

- Jonathan’s (Ogunquit) – will be serving both a Thanksgiving Buffet and a Thanksgiving dinner.

- Lady Mary Inn (North Berwick)– will be serving a Thanksgiving dinner; $75 per person.
- Lucerne Inn (Dedham) – will be serving a Thanksgiving dinner; $59.95 per person, $53.95 for seniors/veterans, and $19.95 for children 6-12.
- MK Kitchen (Gorham) – will be serving a 3-course Thanksgiving dinner; $65 per person.
- Moody’s Diner (Waldoboro) – will be serving a Thanksgiving dinner.
- Natalie’s (Camden) – will be serving a 5-course Thanksgiving dinner; $158 per person with optional $93 wine pairings.

- Rambler’s Irish Bistro (Yarmouth) – will be open midday for a Thanksgiving toast with holiday drinks and complimentary snacks.

- River Drivers Restaurant (Millinocket) – will be serving Thanksgiving buffet; $42.95 per person, $38.95 for 65+, $19.95 for children 4-11, free for children under 4.
