Anna Horne Wingren passed away earlier this month at the age of 100.
Anna had a cooking program, “Anna on Weekday” on WCSH-TV from 1959-1969, where she prepared recipes, interviewed celebrities and produced a weekly newsletter. It was during this time that she met and worked with Julia Child to promote the use of scallops in New England.
