Tranchemontagne’s, Andre and Jame’s Tranchemontagne’s new restaurant in Westbrook, opened on Tuesday. The new eatery replaces the brother’s prior venture at that address, The French Press Eatery. You can see a copy of their menu on their Facebook page (login required).

What makes this a “Cajun” restaurant? Calling a few of its sandwiches po’boys? Seriously?
I had based that description based on some earlier reporting, but you’re right a closer look at the menu shows that’s not an accurate description. I’ll update the language above.
