  1. There is a free wine tasting at Other Side Delicatessen’s East Deering location. French wines and light snacks will be available from 5pm – 7pm

  2. I’m looking forward to trying Bolster, but it’s pretty off putting
Seeing 4 blatantly fake 5 star reviews on yelp. Go check
    For yourself

  3. Nick, they held friends and family services all last week. These were probably written by folks who had then chance to go. I went to one didn’t see any effort to encourage diners to post on yelp. So these reviews likely weren’t orchestrated by Bolster Snow.

  4. I see where Nick is coming from here, it seems awfully suspect that many of the reviews come from users who have never posted on Yelp before. Was their meal really so life-changingly delicious they were inspired to start reviewing restaurants? That would be nice if so.

  5. Exactly. No problem with friends writing positive reviews,
But those looked like paid reviews. The first
One by “Greg” says shortly after they opened. Anybody
At a friends and family would say that.

Not a big deal but it’s tacky

  6. I’m not saying there aren’t fake reviews, but I can defend Greg—he’s a friend of mine, I saw him at the F&F for Bolster etc., and he confirms he was not paid to leave a nice review, he just liked the meal and wanted to help a new business out. FWIW
