Portland area restaurants on the list are: Bao Bao, Blue Rooster, Bramhall, Central Provisions, Dutch’s, East Ender, Ebb & Flow, El Rayo in Scarborough, Elsmere BBQ, Empire, Enio’s, Hugo’s, Isa, Outlier’s, Lolita, Piccolo, Salvage BBQ, Slab, Sur Lie, Timber, Tiqa and Vinland as well as the upcoming restaurants The Honey Paw, MC Union, Scales and Tempo Dulu.

East End, I totally agree. I don’t even consider most of these to be new.
It’s a curious list, one that covered the bases on just about every reasonably serious restaurant that’s opened in the last 2 years. It should have been titled” the best we could think of”
I feel like I’ve read the same article in about 50 publications over the past year. The fascination with ‘Best of’ or ‘First Look’ is getting rather boring. Up your game people.
