Nosh Kitchen Bar is having a friends and family soft opening tonight (although they are serving the occasional non-F&F diner that wanders in) and will be fully open to the public starting Monday at 11 am tomorrow. The “upscale delicatessen and lounge” is in the space formerly occupied by The White Heart. Take a look at this post on Hilly Town for a photo of the interior.

Sonny’s Opening
Sonny’s is scheduled to open for business today. The restaurant is in the space off Post Office Park formerly occupied by O’Naturals. It is the creation of Jay Villani, the chef/owner of Local 188.

Walter's Scheduled to Open
Walter’s is planning to open their new location at 2 Portland Square tonight. Owners Cheryl and Jeff Buerhaus have also recently applied for a liquor license to open a bar called Gingko Blue (see the sample bar menu, page 43) which will be located in the space next to Walter’s on the corner of Union and Fore Streets.

Linda Bean's Scheduled to Open Tomorrow
A sign on the door of the Linda Bean’s Perfect Maine Lobster Roll storefront on Exchange Street indicates that the restaurant plans to open for business on Wednesday. Bean’s growing lobster business was the subject of an article in the New York Times back in October.

Market House Coffee and Peanut Butter and Jelly Time, two new businesses located on the second floor of the Public Market House in Monument Square opened for business today.
