Katie Made was founded in 2000. They were originally located at 147 Cumberland Ave. On January 19, 2013 they opened their current location.

Big Sky launched in 1994.

Baker’s Bench serves traditional American baked goods such as muffins and whoopie pies. The muffins are very good as are the cones, but my favorite item are the sugar- coated crunchy cinnamon sticks. Baker’s Bench also sells a limited menu of soups and sandwiches to a near constant stream of locals.

The Boston Globe called Scratch “a village bakery with Cheers-like camaraderie” in a profile they published about the bakery in 2010.

Scratch publishes a magazine called Baker’s Notes.
