The Wall Street Journal has published an article about Maine oysters and oyster tourism.
Aquaculture farms can be found all along Maine’s coastline, with an official Maine Oyster Trail linking many of the stops along the way. But the greatest concentration of farms is along the 19-mile tidal Damariscotta, the site of oyster feasts for thousands of years.
