TuesdayHouse of Suntory will be taking over the bar at Bar Futo. Luncheonette is holding a (sold out) reprise of their Korean dinner. Here’s a look at their first Korean dinner earlier this month.

ThursdayThe Streetwich is set to open. Chayuda Yeamsiriwut will be serving “Vietnamese-style breakfast banh mi, coffee, and boba”. The cafe and takeout spot is located in the former BenReuben’s space at 145 Ocean Street in Knightville. The Streetwich will be open 8 am – 3 pm.

Friday – The Maine Lobster Chef of the Year Competition is taking place as is the From the Sea seafood event and oyster shucking competition. Participating in this year’s competition are Christian Bassett from Union, Thomas Barthelme from Finestkind, Ryan Hickman from The Knotted Apron, Ramiz Jasic from Sea Glass, Wes Philbrick from Clay Hill Farm, Wilson Rothschild and Al Zoni from Ocotillo and Terlingua, Hannah Ryder from Twelve, Ralph Smith from Mine Oyster, and culinary arts students from SMCC.

 Saturday – The Maine OysterFest is taking place.

Friday – Sunday – The Black Point Inn is holding an Epicurean Weekend focused on Nordic and Alpine cuisine.

Saturday – The 20th Annual Veg Fest is taking place in Portland, and the Maine Fermentation Festival is taking place in Waterville.

Saturday-November 9 – 207 Beer Week is taking place at breweries, bars and bottle shops across the state.

November 10-16Brunswick Wine Week is taking place.

November 15Luncheonette will be holding a pop-up at Lambs in South Portland.

November 17Pulatan is holding a Filipino pop-up at the Big Tree Event space at the former Local 188.

November 21 – The deadline to submit a recommendation to the James Beard Foundation for the 2026 Awards.

November 26 – It’s the last day of the outdoor Portland Farmers’ Market in Deering Oaks Park.
