Geary Brewing Company was founded by Dave and Karen Geary in 1983. It was Maine’s first modern day brewery, and they received Federal Brewing License #13.

Austin Street’s original brewery is located at 1 Industrial Way. Their new larger brewery and tasting room in East Bayside opened on December 22, 2018.

New England Distilling is run by Ned Wight, who formerly worked as a brewer at Allagash.

Bissell Brothers launched in December 2013 and opened their new brewery on Thompson’s Point June 4, 2016.

They operate 2 restaurants at the brewery The Kitchen and The Garden.
