1820 Wines Release

Eighteen Twenty Wines released their first batch of rhubarb wine yesterday. The East Bayside business delivered¬† the first few bottles to Hannigan’s Island Market on Peaks Island.

    I had an Aunt up on the Castine region of Penobscot Bay that made both rhubarb and blackberry wine. This has to a lot better than those were as either of one was strong enough to make it feel like your teeth were dissolving. This state’s come a long way since those days some forty years ago when no one thought of making commercial wines.
