Sprinklers in the three-story building, which also houses Otto’s administrative offices on the upper floors, turned on and kept the fire from spreading. However, the water damage caused by the sprinklers was widespread and forced the business to close Sunday, Walsh said.
FYI for the Under Construction page, I was in Tony’s Donuts this weekend, and the girl working said that they’ve decided that turning the old Getty station into a cafe was too big a project to take on. The gas station property has a for sale sign on it.
There’s a note on the door that they be closed indefinitely. Certainly they were closed when I walked by there today.
