The French Press Eatery is being renovated. It
will re-open as a cajun restaurant called
Tranchmontagne's.
The coffee shop and cafe is run by brothers
James and Andre
Tranchemontagne. They opened for business the
week of November 16, 2009.
Their excellent doughnuts are served up still
warm from the fryer. There are about dozen different options
including a bacon maple and The Elvis which is a chocolate glazed
filled with banana slices and peanut butter.
