Bresca Rating Scale

Bresca is closed for the summer while chef Krista Kern Desjarlais launches and runs Bresca and the Honey Bee in New Gloucester.
Bresca has been one of my favorite restaurants in Portland ever since they opened in 2007. I like everything on the menu but some of my favorites are the shaved brussels sprouts and the tuscan black kale. For dessert I highly recommend that you have the buttermilk panna cotta; it easily makes my short list of the Best Things to Eat in Portland.
The Boston Globe dubbed it a "Tiny Treasure of a Restaurant", and Conde Nast Traveler listed Bresca as one of the hottest restaurants in their 2008 global survey of up and coming eateries.
Chef Krista Kern Desjarlais was a James Beard Foundation nominee for Best Chef: Northeast in 2010.
In 2013, Bresca started serving lunch. The lunch menu marks new territory while still holding to the same high standards of the dinner fare.
Reservations: visit OpenTable to make a reservation at Bresca.
