Sam Hayward, chef at Fore Street is scheduled to speak at the Maine Literary Festival November 9 in Camden. Also on the program is Melissa Kelly from Primo, Ruth Reichel from Gourmet, author Michael Ruhlman, food columnist Molly O’Neill and professor Ardis Cameron.
The Breakfast Club
The Breakfast Club has posted an explanation (“we don’t all live close enough to meet for breakfast each and every week anymore.”) for their six month silence on the toast, eggs and coffee to be had in Portland. They do promise to restart writing reviews “hopefully sometime in the near future”.
